OUR PATH

Well Rooted Teas grew from a lifelong connection to the land — shaped by an Iowa upbringing, parents who understood the rhythm of the soil, and a deep respect for farming and community. That early understanding of how nature heals and sustains guided both my studies in public health and a career dedicated to helping people live well.

Years spent in the Peace Corps in Guinea reinforced a belief that health and community are intertwined — that when we nurture the land, we nurture ourselves.

Today, Well Rooted Teas brings these experiences together: a love of plants, a respect for nature’s wisdom, and a commitment to sustainable farming. Our blends are created in partnership with local growers and foragers, crafted to nourish the body, honor the earth, and give back to the communities that root us all

We source over 80% of our botanicals from within 250 miles of our home in Minneapolis, ethically foraging and partnering with local organic famers who share our respect for the land.
